<p>Cuthbert&#8217;s rise as a play-by-play voice came in the 1990s, working for TSN starting in 2005 staying with the network for over a decade, He joined Sportsnet in 2020, calling the Western Conference Final that year alongside Louie DeBrusk, and including Stanley Cup Finals along the way.</p>
<p>Last year, Cuthbert and Simpson began calling Oilers playoffs games during the second round against the Vancouver Canucks, following them to the Western Conference Final against the Stars and the Stanley Cup Final against the Florida Panthers, thought Scott Oake came along as the reporter.</p>
