He’s one of those players you either love or hate, and while I’m absolutely on Team Bouchard, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t fascinated to see how Oilers fans react to him this coming season. There’s a boom and bust kind of vibe that surrounds Bouchard, but this will be the first time he’s ever making the kind of money where ever mistake gets wrapped up what is contract says. It’s what happens with Darnell Nurse. It’s what used to happen with Shawn Horcoff. Are they all different players? Of course. But is the pressure ramped up because of the price tag? Absolutely.</p>
<p>The microscope gets bigger when the dollars do. That’s reality.
